Connected World Creations, LLC (“We” or “us”) provides a networking application, WH@M (“App”) that assists you in building connections with people you that share your interests and who are in close geographic proximity to you (the “Services”).

When you use the Services, you will share some information with us. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect and how we use and share that information. If you use our Services, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of your personal data under this Privacy Policy and agree to our Terms of Use.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1. Information You Provide

  • Account Set-Up. Our services require that you to set up an account. We will collect any information you provide to set up your account, including your name, email address, date of birth, phone number, log-in name and password and/or any other information used from a social sign-in, e.g. using Facebook to sign-up for the Services instead of creating a new login account specifically for the App.

  • Information you allow us to access. Information you allow us to access through enabling features that permit us to access to your phone’s contacts, calendar, or other sources of information.

  • Location Information. We may collect your location information as determined through data such as GPS, IP address and WiFi, if you permit us to do so based on your App settings or device permissions.

  • Tags. Your tags, e.g. the items you use to describe yourself within the App.

2. Other Information We Collect

  • Usage and Preference Information. We collect information about how you interact with our Services, your activity through our Services, the preferences you express, and the settings you choose.

  • Device Information. We may collect information about the devices you use to access the Services, including the hardware models, operating systems and versions, software, file names and versions, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers, device motion information, and mobile network information.

  • Connection Information. When you interact with the Services, we collect server logs, which may include information like device IP address, access dates and times, App features viewed, App crashes and other system activity.

  • Messages. We collect information about you when you send, receive, or engage with other users of the App in connection with our Services. This may include the number of messages you exchange and the content of those messages.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to provide the Services and to optimize your experience. Specifically, we use the information in the following manner:

  • Customer Support. We may use your information to provide, improve and develop the Services.

  • To personalize the Services. We use the information we have to provide shortcuts and suggestions to you. For example, we suggest users for your to connect with based on the information you provide to us. We are also able to suggest tags for you to describe yourself, as you type.

  • Push Notifications. If you have them enabled, we use your device information to send you push notifications.

  • To help you access the full extent of our Services. For example, we use your location data to help you find other users in your area with similar interests.

  • Communications with you. We may use your information to respond to communications from you or to communicate with you about the Services, other products, promotions, studies, surveys, news, updates, events, and updates to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

  • Promote safety and security. We use the information we have to help verify accounts and activity, and to promote safety and security on and off of our Services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies.

  • Communications among Users. We use the information we collect to enable communications between our users. For example, we collect information from user-to-user messages in order to generate data that we may sell to advertisers.

  • Research. We may use your information to monitor and analyze trends and usage of the Services. We also use the tag information as a research resource for the App.

  • To enforce our Terms of Use. We may use your information to enforce our Terms of Use and other applicable policy.

  • Legal Purposes. We may use the information we collect to investigate or address claims or disputes relating to your use of our Services, or as otherwise allowed by applicable law.

HOW IS YOUR INFORMTION SHARED?

  • With other users. When you share and communicate using our Services, you choose how you want to tag yourself. The Services intend to match you with other users who have a matching tag and are within the radius that you choose. Likewise, you then choose who you decide to message and others can decide to message you based on you appearing within their radius setting.

  • With advertisers. We may use the information we have to share with advertisers, to provide you with advertisements that you may like to see.

  • Business Affiliates, Vendors and Consultants. We may share information with any business affiliates, vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research firms, and other service providers or business partners as necessary to provide Services.

  • Potential New Owner. We may share your information with others in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.

  • Legal Purposes. We may share your information if we believe it is required by applicable law, regulation, operating agreement, legal process or governmental request. This includes sharing your information with law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties as necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, user agreements, or other policies, to protect our rights or property or the rights or property of others, or in the event of a claim or dispute relating to your use of our Services.

HOW CAN YOU MANAGE YOUR INFORMATION?

We want you to be in control of your information. You can manage the information that you provided to us by updating your profile at any time when you are logged into the App. If you want to revoke certain permissions, such as sharing your location data, you may do so by changing your App settings on your device; however, this may impair the functionality of the App. You may delete your information that you provided to us at any time by deleting your account on the App. We will not maintain your user information after you delete your account.

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION MAINTAINED?

We store all user information on a cloud server, which is controlled via browser-based administration.

CHILDREN

Our Services are not intended for and is not directed at anyone under 13. Children under 13 should not send any information about themselves to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has submitted information, we will attempt to delete that information as soon as possible.

REVISIONS TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to the Privacy Policy we will provide notice through our Services or by other means in advance of the effective date, so that you have the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may close your account and cease your use of the Services. However, your continued use of our Services after we update this Privacy Policy means that you consent to the updated Privacy Policy.
